Class Summery: Covering everything from human development to common patterns of behaviour and everyone's favourite-- Mental illness and psychological disorders, it's a multi-level class that is driven by how the mind works and how it effects life. It also covers social issues with being a "mutt" and how to behave more human, as well as common issues with being raised as a "mutt" can cause in half-breeds.

Personality: Calm and easy going, Roshan takes a distinct enjoyment in his work. He finds the differences in how humans and half breeds' minds work fascinating, and well as the inherent similarities. Smart and quick with a comeback, he's very rarely shocked or taken aback by anyone. He also finds amusement in watching and listening to his students try to pronounce his last name. He's a very friendly kind of man, though he doesn't really like the cold. He has his vices, of course, like having a drink or a cigarette but never does this in view of the students or on campus, even braving the cold of winter to enjoy a smoke. But as he says to anyone that knows and lectures him about this particular habit; "Do as I teach, not as I do."

History: Hailing from Egypt, like most sphinxes, he was born in the deserts to a proud lioness, outcasted from her pack due to not killing off her half-breed young. He's one of 8 siblings, though he's by far the biggest. He was the only one to get his human father's redness to his hair (or mane, depending on who you ask), the others having his mother's typical golden brown. He was always a wanderer when he was young and often wandered into smaller cities and campsites, where he was feared many times until he would get to know the humans. He finds their technologies and trinkets fascinating because of that and has, on several occassions, traveled with human companions, offering to guard them. However, after running into poachers trying to kill him, he decided it was time to leave Egypt and Africa altogether, going to school instead until he got his doctorates and certification to teach, which then lead him to Dimidium Academy.

Other:
-He can shift his shoulders and hips forward to walk and run, quite comfortably, on four legs and will often do so when running late
-he has fleshtone pads on his hands, like the ones on his hind paws
-he uses his tail as a third hand, often holding his teaching supplies with it or slamming it on students' desks for their attention
-he has amazing hearing and it's quite literally impossible to talk during class without being heard
-he's obsessive-compulsive and will joke with his class about the "irony of it all"
-on rare occasions he does managed to get pissed off, he bares his massive teeth and roars loudly to scare the person that angers him off... Aside from the headmistress, that is
-he needs raw meat to maintain his diet. because of this he will often take weekends to go hunting, off grounds and in the wilderness of course
-more than once, he's tripped and fallen over the headmistress' tail, though he always pretends that nothing happened should she or anyone else have noticed
